Most home panels are wall mounted, which means one wall and one height for good. The Beacon is a lamp on a stand, so the head moves: knee height beside a chair, chest height for standing, tilted down over a mat.

The head holds 180 diodes at 660nm red and 850nm near infrared behind a 9 inch face, and the bracket tilts through 180 degrees. The stand telescopes from 24 to 63 inches, and the weighted base keeps it upright on carpet.

Setup takes about two minutes with no tools and no drilling, and the whole thing collapses back down to the height of a floor lamp.
